Bit market

Hitting the thrift hard as I march to Walton street market once again for my mid week hustle. This Takes place on a Wednesday and a Sunday and not really a high yield for me on the day I go round, With most of the Car boot part been bigger on the sunday, But it is on route and always worth checking out.

If your a regular reader you may remember me showcasing the Hull pokedex facebook page last week, Its a subtle blend of Humorous subtext and photogenic scenes from the city of Hull using Pokemon as an visual device.

So routing though some bargin boxes 50p - £1 on everything I notice some Pokemon annuals and upon farther inspection I pull out this thing, Its a Electronic pokedex, With a few mini games built in and for £1 and pokemon seemly on the brain of late who wouldn't buy this!

Next stop where in Cottingham Just outside of Hull, And looks like where about to score with Sonic adventure 2 on Dreamcast Pushing It at £4 but still not beyond what I am willing to pay, Upon Opening the box I Discover the disc to Disney's Dinosaur... God damn it.

Now this mite be of interest to someone out there, A crapton of Yu-Gi-Oh! cards £1 a box, Not really been up on Yu-Gi-Oh I passed on them bet there's some one out there that would have had a fit if they saw all these, This was in Age concern down Newland avenue.
Jaws Unleashed £2 that's about £10 worth of game, Deal or no deal DS £1 why not, And would you believe it a copy of Crash bandicoot wrath of cortex for £2 wonder how many copy's of that game have turned up on this site?

£30 for boxed atari with loads of games, I was Quite tempted by all this but a few thing where wrong with it, One Its the newer 90s remission of the console, Two some one had Carved Gary into all the games Three the box was beat to hell, All  taken into account I passed, Just because its retro doesn't make it worth £30 condition is key!

More game pick ups, Atari Anthology £1 find this game a lot of late I make pence on it but Its is good for building up some feedback always sells, Crash of the titans £1 and dino Stalker £1.

Really was some awesome retro on display, Just under the going rate on ebay, Some one has looked into the price on these Atari ST games, only altered beast was complete the other two had missing discs shame the box art is sweet.

Never miss a beat here on thrift Bytes, If a new RSPCA shop is opening down Holderness road you can bet I am going to check it out.

And what a gala opening It was bagging all these games for £1 each, Champions of norrath, Baldars gate DA, FFXII, and The bards tale, A fine selection of RPG/hack and slash.

Couple of Dual shock 2 controllers £1.50 Each both in good order, Remember its Still £4 cash in Cex, Don't Know how long that will last with PS4 round the corner, And be aware you have to book them in for a test and wait 20mins before they buy them in.
A big ass Pokemon platinum Strategy guide £1, Serious what is with all the pokemon stuff, I would say it is because I am more mentally aware of it but I check every potential Thifty Item every time I am out, So Its just dumb luck I guess.

Valkyria Chronicles for ps3 £3.99, Cex cash £5 Trade £8 they sell it for £12 nice current gen find, I bet the Copasetics are glad they give me that sticker If anyone is interested there a kick ass band from hull Linkage here.

Finally on the way home just a few odd tat shops here and there Hessle road and Analby road gets to the last one and found this.

Talked the guy down to £12 for the lot GO ON! The GBAsp is pretty beat up the inside is ok Screens fine and it works but it was all the games that made it a sweet deal,
Super Mario bros deluxe,Wario world 4,Pacman collection.
Pokemon Gold, Pokemon pinball, And Pokemon Sapphire,
After all the other stuff I found this really was the icing on the cake, What an epic day of thrifting, untell next time... Thrift bytes is blasting off again.
